What are your career goals?
My aspiration at this time is to find a entry level interior designer position. Once I have become comfortable with that level, I would like to move up to a higher position.

What types of activities, groups, clubs, boards are you
active in?
Currently I’m engaing in a volunteer community work. Also I greatly enjoy exercising and drawing.

Where are you from originally?
Rockford.

What do you like about the Rockford Area?
I like the attitudes of the people as well as the resonable pricing of things.

What is something that people are surprised to learn about you?
That I’ am a thrifty shopper and that I speak some Spanish.

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy spending time with my niece as well as friends.

What do you wish you could change about the Rockford Area?
I would like to change the downtown area. It has a lot of potiential of being an area that can attract outsiders and new buisness. I also would like to see less fortunate areas of Rockford more developed.

What internships have you had and what did you learn?
I have interned at Richard L Johnson Associates, LLC in Rockford, IL. There I learned how to communicate my design ideas effectively. I also interned at AHA Designs, LLC in Chicago, IL. There I was able to learn how to work independently on projects. As well as assisting designers with fabric selection, space planning, drawings, coordinating vendor displays, and coordinating project scheduling. Overall I feel that that these experinces have help me in my design overall design approach.
